Yes same problem here, and it's not jumping because i'm sticking to 1 system and it just gets slower and slower to the point of being near unusable. |

Same issue here, and I just upgraded from an nvidia 460 GTX to a monster 670 GTX and i actually have worse performance than before, by a mile, ever since inferno 1.1 patch. I can actually load more clients to the eve splash login screen than before with this 670 GTX, a whole lot more, than I could with the 460 GTX, with no slow down, I did that as a test. The GTX 670 is vastly superior.
Once i'm logged in though, performance is far worse and the game appears to have a stutter, like it is freezing a few times per second. |

I was running at 30 fps, I pressed escape to goto options screen as many as suggesting, all clients at once. Then i went out of that back into normal overview again and now my performance has taken massive hit ,down to 10-15 fps. |

My problem is a little stranger, I can run 8 clients on my machine with a GTX 460 gpu, which is my old GPU, my new GTX 670 will struggle to run 8, to the point of being a slideshow.
In comparison the GTX 670 is about 4 times better than the GTX 460, it's a near -ú400 GPU with 1344 cuda cores vs a -ú90 gpu with 344 cuda cores, and yet the high end 670 GTX is the one that struggles, while the 460 GTX performs a lot better, ever since inferno 1.1 patch? Doesn't make sense why I get far more peformance out of an older card than a brand new high end one.
This problem started as soon as the 600mb inferno 1.1 patch was deployed. |

Just ran a benchmark on my 670 GTX and 460 GTX gpus, same system
460 gtx only scores 2040 on the benchmark, goes to nearly 80 degrees temp too, and only 35 fps 670 gtx scores 4400, max 70 degrees temp, 75 fps
The 670 GTX wins hands down.
Yet i'm forced to use the 460 GTX for EVE since inferno 1.1 because for some reason it gives me much better FPS than the 670 GTX does, only happens in EVE.

I tested the exact point the FPS drop occurs, it's when i actually enter the game and the ship/UI loads in space, haven't tried it docked, i logged in in space.
Had all my clients at character select, steady 30-35 fps. I logged in one character, the fps on that character remained 25-30. I logged in a second character, and within 20 seconds my FPS dropped to 5-10 across all clients, even the ones still at character select screen have dropped to 10-15 fps, whole computer is slowed down by it. GPU is only at 52 degrees.
Next I closed the clients on the two I had logged into space with, my performance did not recover much, the remaining clients at character select are only seeing 15-20 fps, it's jumping between 15-20 even though nothing is happening on the screen. |

Veng3ance wrote:Happens to me when I run three accounts. When I open my third account everything works fine for a bit, 60 FPS across all three clients. But if I undock even one character BAM every client drops to 6-7 FPS and will stay that way until I log off, not even re-docking helps.
This sounds like the same problem that effects me, if I enter two character into space, drops to 6-9 fps, it will effect all clients, even docked/ones at login screen, and logging out the ones in space will not resolve it. |

Beccy Tokila wrote:Not sure if i'm right but all of the specs i've read that seem to have this issue are using Nvidia cards, or did i miss something?
I'm getting the same issue (And the socket closing one) since patch, i've comfortably run two clients before now the only slowdown i noticed pre patch was opening the same planet for PI in both windows, but now its almost everything i do. If i try to warp both clients at the same time, my PC just begs for mercy :(.
I'm using a slightly old Nvidia card too, just thought that might have something to do with it is all :S. Hope we get a fix soon though!
There's people using ati cards effected too. I actually use a GTX 670 and it peforms like a 680, near one of the best cards out there atm, it actually performs worse than my gtx 460 for EVE since the 1.1 patch. |

Hasn't fixed it for me.
Seems I don't even need to load a second eve into space, I just need multiple clients running, log in 1 into space, load fraps, which makes all the eve windows dissapear for a second and then reload with 5 fps. |

If the patch this unscheduled downtime was supposed to fix it, it didn't. |

Big improvement for me with inferno 1.15, won't say as far as it's completely fixed but it's miles better than it was, very playable. |

Strangely, i now get 30 fps with my GTX 670 on multiple clients but my older, far less powerful GTX 460 gets 40 fps with the same number of clients on the same machine? Confused. |
